Irwin is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Vice President of Sales to lead the company’s sales execution and revenue through its next phase of growth. 

The VP Sales will report directly to the Co-Founders and will interact with other executive team members to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, scale the team, and establish operational excellence across the sales organization.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead from the front as a high-performance salesperson. Train the team on effective selling techniques and lead by example. 
  • Maximize ARR growth by enabling the team to sign up new customers and win larger deals. 
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals and support the team in negotiations. 
  • Organise, attend and present at suitable trade conferences and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help maximise the reach of Irwin in the market.
  • Work with the Co-Founders to establish team sales quotas, growth plans, management, marketing, and market-capacity requirements.
  • Help/motivate your team to reach their potential and exceed their goals. 
  • Assess current sales practices, and team structure, then implement changes to optimize performance. 
  • Leverage an internal CRM to monitor performance metrics to demonstrate and strengthen pipeline management.  
  • Hire and retain high performance team members.  Implement sales recruiting, on-boarding, and career path and development.
  • Act as a strategic business partner, thought leader, advisor, and partner across the organization to establish and develop a strong and collaborative partnership to ensure continued success.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS solutions sales, with at least 3 years in a management role. 
  • Experience selling B2B software products.
  • A high level of self-motivation and capable of working remotely.
  • A track record of implementing sales practices and building successful sales teams.
  • Ability and flexibility to spend up to 10% time travelling when appropriate.
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence in order to coach and develop your team.
  • Prepared to go the extra mile and get the job done.
